Our Location And Directions

Simple Life Cabins are conveniently located appx. 1 1/2 hours drive from Nashville and 2 hours from Knoxville. We are appx. one half hour from Interstate 40. From the interstate it's only 70 miles to the the international airport in Nashville. We are the perfect distance from two of Tennessee's largest cities. Here, you'll enjoy the country life yet, large metropolitan areas are accessible, too. Enjoy the beautiful, scenic drive into town when you're in the mood for the city!

Dale Hollow Lake, one of the most beautiful clear water lakes in America, with over 600 miles of shoreline, is only 20 minutes away. The world record small mouth bass was caught at a fishing tournament at Dale Hollow Lake! You can enjoy boating, fishing, swimming, picnicking, and camping at the lake. The Cumberland River is only 10 minutes away. Deer, wild turkey, rabbits and other wildlife are abundant. The scenery and the views are spectacular.

The Historic, quaint little town of Celina, the county seat of Clay County, is only 10 minutes away. Celina has restaurants, a library, the Clay County Museum, and one of the oldest Court Houses in Tennessee. It's a place that still has benches under the shade of the trees on the Court House lawn! Nearby Livingston and Cookeville offer shopping, antiques and local crafts, dining, churches, medical offices and hospitals.

Directions to Simple Life Cabins Subdivision from Nashville:

Take I-40 East to exit 280, the Baxter Gainesboro exit. Turn left at the bottom of the exit ramp. You'll be on Highway 56 North. Follow this road through Gainesboro. In Gainesboro Highway 53 will merge with this road. Appx. One mile further 56 will turn to the left. You stay on the road you got on at the interstate. You DON'T turn. Now, without having made a turn, you're on 53.

Continue on Highway 53 toward Celina and Dale Hollow Lake. When you cross into Clay County you will go up a steep hill. As you top that hill and go down the other side you will cross Dry Fork Creek. There's a guard rail on the right side of the road that continues after you cross the bridge. At the end of the guard rail is a road that turns right, Dry Mill Creek Road. Turn right on that road. (That will be appx. 13 miles from the BANK and the DAIRY QUEEN in Gainesboro.)

Follow Drymill Creek Road for appx. 3 miles. Turn right on Turkey Town Road. Continue on Turkey Town Rd appx. 2 miles to Spence Lane. Turn right. Go appx 1 mile to Simple Life Rd and turn left. Follow this road for appx ¼ mile and you will see our Simple Life Cabins Subdivision.

Directions to Simple Life Cabins Subdivision from Knoxville:
