Our Simple Life Development properties in middle Tennessee are located near several major lakes, beautiful rivers, state parks, and other natural wonders. When you are in mood for the city life we conveniently located approximately half way between Nashville and Knoxville. Chattanooga, near white water rafting and home of the world class Tennessee Aquarium, is only a 2 1/2 hour drive away.
Property taxes are low in this area, property values are increasing and Tennessee has no state income tax.
We enjoy four distinct seasons in beautiful mountain scenery. Each season has its own special beauty and outdoor activities for the whole family to enjoy. It is often said that springtime in Tennessee is one of the most beautiful places on earth. The colorful autumn foliage is spectacular, and the winters are generally not extremely cold. Dale Hollow Lake:
Dale Hollow Lake with over 600 miles of shoreline is only twenty minutes away. Some of the great activities available there are hunting, fishing, kayaking/canoeing, horse back riding trails, hiking and much more. Houseboats and fishing boats are available for rent . Cordell Hull Lake offers over 381 miles of shoreline and over 12,000 acres of water.

Center Hill Lake:
Center Hill Lake, located in Smith County offers 3 gorgeous waterfalls, places for hiking, simming, and camping. Also on the lake are 8 marinas, 5 restaurants, 1 state park, 9 Army Corps recreation areas, and the famous Joe L. Evins Appalachian Center for the Crafts.

State Parks:

One of the greatest natural areas nearby is Big South Fork Park. Here they offer horseback riding, whitewater rafting, fishing, swimming, and kayaking.
